You can’t go wrong with powerful ingredients bundled in a tasty cookie. Everyone needs a nutrition 911 plan, and these cookies top my list. Store them in the freezer to have handy anytime you need a satisfying boost of energy.

Here’s five very good reasons to make and enjoy this cookie:

  2. Plant protein
  3. Healthful fat
  4. Whole grain
  5. Chocolate (of course!)

5 Good Reasons Cookie

  • 2 Bananas (very ripe)
  • 3/4 Cup Quick Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter (chunky)
  • 3 Tbsp Mini semi-sweet chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a medium size bowl, mash bananas with fork.  Add remaining ingredients and stir until well combined.

  3. Spoon roughly 2 tablespoon of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Using back of fork, flatten dough slightly.  

  4. Bake until firm, approximately 15 minutes.

Store them in the freezer to grab anytime you need snack to grab or pack. Need to thaw immediately? Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds.
